I’m a relative newcomer to ‘The Conversation’ but I find myself turning to it with increasing frequency as a source of thought-provoking, succinct news articles that don’t just go for the killer headline or regurgitate the stale contents of an endless echo-chamber, and no paywall either. A good example is Roger Kreuz’s piece on the growing concern over plagiarism in higher education, and how the use of AI has meant that universities and their students are now in a virtual arms race of tools in the concoction and detection of chatbot-generated essays.
