One of my favourite films of all time is ‘2001 – A Space Odyssey’ and unbelievably, this year is the 55th anniversary of its release. To my nerdy, sci-fi-loving brain, its attention to detail, spectacular special effects, deliberate pace, superb use of music and prescient message on the dangers of relinquishing control to artificial intelligence all combine to give a truly immersive experience.
