Happy Friday, everyone – the working week is nearly over! For word nerds and language wranglers such as I, however, it’s difficult to switch off: my reflexes jump at the sight of a misplaced apostrophe or typo on a website, or the creative approach to grammar on some social media posts … but perhaps we should all be a little more aware of the fact that language is constantly evolving.
